Welcome to Our Web site.
(a letter from our executive director)
We invite you to find out what we do, who the members of our organization are and how you can help support, or make use of, our services to the frail elderly, disabled and chronically ill residents of Southeast Lake County communities.
On this site, you will find information on our services and fund-raising activities: our new cookbook, “Best in the Neighborhood,” for example. (I guarantee you will find a recipe that you would love to have.)
You can also find out how you, or your congregation, can join us in this inspiring work .... (Read More)
If you need help
or know someone
in the community
who needs help...
...call the Southeast Lake County Faith in Action office at 1-847-433-9411 to request a volunteer. If you have to leave a message, we will call back within 24 hours.

HEY, GOOD LOOKIN’! Yes, you!
Consider this your personal invite to the Southeast Lake County Faith In Action Volunteers Benefit Evening at Ravinia on Sunday, August 16. We hope it’s not TOO DARN HOT as we gather for the pre-concert dinner, open bar and desserts and we know IT’S DELOVELY when we gather for “An Evening of Cole Porter.”
IN THE STILL OF THE NIGHT we will listen to some of the most famous hits of the Cole Porter Songbook and you can BEGIN THE BEGUINE or BE A CLOWN, as the mood strikes you. ANYTHING GOES! We hope you won’t be like MISS OTIS (REGRETS) but that you’re now saying LET’S DO IT!
Click for more information (and thanks to Holy Cross pastoral associate Mary Ann Spina for striking just the right notes with the song choices above).
